Discovered by Michael Bivins of New Edition, 702 is a teenage trio -- Irish, Kameelah, and Lemisha -- who made their recorded debut singing on Subway's hit single "This Lil' Game We Play." The group released their debut album, No Doubt, in the fall of 1996, preceded by the single "Steelo." Several other singles from the album followed in 1997, including the title track, "Get It Together," and "All I Want." The group returned in 1999 with a self-titled full-length as well as the single "Where My Girls At?" ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Rovi
Actually it was the twin sister of irish, orish who died in 08 of kidney failure. She was the original 4th member of the group but left after this little game we play lets make sure we are leaving correct info on here, because even unintentional rumours are bad! All three members pictured above are not deceased as far as I know. The twin sister of Irish, the girl pictured on the far right of their "No Doubt" album cover passed away from cancer and her name was Orish. Orish (deceased) was the fourth original member of their group and was in their "This Little Game We Play" video.
I live in 702 and the group was not a trio it actually was four members in the group. There was a set of twins and one of the twins was forced to leave the group because she got pregnant, the group broke up and the dark skinned girl went solo and had maybe two hits but that about it. To me she was the group anyway. But over all They was a decent group ;)
I thought they were a young group that was on there way to the top...i loved "This little game we play and steelo... reminds me of my teenage years.....the one on the right is the one that passed away. I think her name is Orish....
Did the dark-skinned girl pass away? (im sorry Im not sure what her name is) But they were a definite contribution to R&B in the 90's. Their singles are classic.
Horrible effort given by the 'so-called' Biographer...I mean if you don't want to finish it why start in the first place?...That aside these chics were decent..Not the best performers but were mostly the victim of bad song choices and failure to grow as artists..Still thought they were tremendously hot..But in the end 'looks' alone will not give you the longevity entertainers strive for.

Another reason why the 90's was the best time for R&B.
