ATB was the alias of DJ Andre Tanneberger, a native of Freilberg, Germany, born in 1973. In the wake of remixes for acts including the Outhere Brothers, Technotronic, and Haddaway, he scored a European club hit with 1999's "9 PM (Till I Come)," releasing the full-length Movin' Melodies later that same year. At the end of October 2000, Tanneberger released his sophomore album, Two Worlds. For the album ATB collaborated with Heather Nova, Enigma, and the Canadian rock band Wild Strawberries. The release was a double CD, the first consisting of more dancefloor-friendly tunes and the second, more downtempo. In mid-2000 Tannenberg released the single "Killer," a remake of the Seal and Adamski track, with Drew Williams on vocals. Two Worlds was issued later that fall, followed by several compilations and singles. It wasn't until 2002 that a new full-length album would appear; Dedicated arrived that spring. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
I teach High School math and use this music as back ground when I'm teaching. Using patterns to show where I want the students to get to, this allows me to turn up the volume and stop talking while I show power points of steps in math. The students seem to go into a trance when I'm cranking this. Thanks ATB!
im been lising ABT since i was 11 ! and im never gonna stop ! hell yeah :)

ATB is the reason I got into techno/dance music back in my club days..still haven't out grown the style of music though, even now that I am a settled down house wife..ATB has always been my favorite techno jams..I think he is incredible talented and his slow jams just put me in a trance:)
I saw him at Electric Zoo in NY early this month and he did play Ecstasy one of my favorite tracks from ATB. He was awesome, I saw him earlier at my club in DC earlier this year too.
i love this artist! first techno i ever listened to i bought movin melodies and loved every song. It is because of atb that i have a love for trance/techno
funny that nothing is mentioned after 2002 in this bio.. I particularly like the job he did mixing Ministry of Sound's Clubber's Guide to Trance. A ton of great tracks on that 2-disc set, IIRC. I haven't had any luck getting a hard copy, though..
ATB is the man!! been listening to this man since "9pm till i come"!! have tht on limited white label vinyl :) i will b bangin atb in my headphones till i die!!
