Not long after securing a contract with the LaFace label and releasing their self-titled debut album in late 1996, hip-hop group Az Yet reached the R&B Top 20 with their "Last Night" single. The track hit gold by early 1997. ~ John Bush, Rovi
Mrz. Northwood - Marc Nelson actually was a member of Boyz II Men. He left the group prior to the release of their debut album. He and Nathan formed the group while in high school students. This was something that was mentioned in a special done on Boyz II Men by VH1 many years ago. I would have liked to have heard Marc as part of the group. I think his voice is incredible and it would have blended well with the other members.
wikipedia is not a well trusted site... do some real research before you start talking... none of the boys from AZ YET was in Boyz II Men! so get it right. A true Fan of Boyz II Men!

And yeah... Chicago sang it first... And I wouldn't say its better or worse, just different. Its a wonderfully written song. I love Peter Cetera's voice as well..
Like this version, but the version where they have Peter Cetera singing with them... now THAT is amazing. Az Yet was one of my first concerts, and I got invited on stage for this song... AMAAAAZING!!!
