Did not know that the Bar-Kays was Otis Redding's Band in the 60's and came back after the accident.One of my favorite bands of ALL TIME.

I have always loved the bar kays
I remember Soul Finger but it was seeing their name on Emperor Hayes classic Stax albums including Shaft that caught my eye. Then I must have played Son of Shaft till the vinyl broke in pain. Not as tough as the first tier Ohio Players or the Gap Band, but above Lakeside, Brick, and the abysmal Commodores( come on yall, they release a high school band workout called Machine Gun and get listed as a funk outfit).
