Wasn't this song used in the fight between Luffy and Crocodile in the anime One Piece?

Very dramatic and beautiful, Dvorak at his best!

Incredibly moving and very powerful, in terms of sound. I absolutely love this one; I wish we would play it in full orchestra

i don't like getting music in bits and pieces, one movement here, another one there. i just may go to YouTube, where, if your careful, you can get entire pieces without those annoying ads. also, that way i can save myself five bucks s month, enough for a good Chinese dinner in my town. and, as you can see, i'm trying to ween myself away from making comments on the rock and roll i love so much. but it's like kicking a drug habit. i keep seeing my computer in the corner beckoning to me.

Gustavo conducting this is one of the funniest things I've seen in my life.

Always gives me goosebumps! I played it both in marching band and orchestra. I love this piece so much

Beautiful! And of course its long! It's from 1893! Various pieces from the Romantic period were written this long. Which is... AWESOME! Sooooo goood!

Listen to the trombone/tru m p e t ( b o t h execellent!) chords through it! They are mind blowing! We played this in band and as a trumpet player i dont care if i get 1st 2nd or 3rd part because this song rock my socks!

The album cover for this music is for Wagner, lol

Aside from the messed up cover art, this is a listenable version of Dvorak's 9th, but once one has heard the Enrique Batiz/ London Phiharmonic/ Sarabande version nothing else holds up very well.

Album art for Wagner does not belong on a Dvorak piece.
Report as inappropriate
i agree. Is this a Dvorak piece or a Wagner? Great moving piece. Long too.

Why is there a picture & label of Wagner on Dvorak's piece?? Is there way to report an error?

Calling a Philharmonic Orchestra (Berlin, Cleveland, London...) a band is both etymological l y correct (are they not bands of musicians?) and a common, affectionate practice of many people who like symphonic music. Carry on.

But I didn't come here for that; I came here, like Jessica, to complain about how Pandora can't seem to match tracks to album covers in its classical selections. I don't know if this has been true all along, but I've been noticing it A LOT this last few weeks.

The real question here: why is there a Wagner by Kempe cover stuck on Dvorak by Karajan?

Willy...Perh a p s misinterpret a t i o n of comments smug guy. Pay attention before you write. Close your eyes. Enjoy the music. Relax on the keyboard.
Alex...Don't care what your little dictionary says, NO Philharmonic Orchestra (Berlin, Cleveland, London or otherwise) is a Band. Understandab l e mistake (I suppose), just make a note for future reference.

i think people are saying that LOTR and jaws ripped off dvorak, not the other way around hahaha.
Report as inappropriate
Bands cover a broad spectrum - light, radio and music all have spectral 'bands'. lol. 'Borrowed' and 'ripped off' are not relevant to any of Dvorak. Understand that Lord of the Rings and Jaws came along over 100 years after Symphony #9. Perhaps reverse evolution youngsters. Read up before you write. Close your eyes. Enjoy the music. Stay away from the keyboard.

One of my all time favorite pieces!

I also think Lord of the Rings "borrowed" large pieces of this track, but couldn't find any reference to it...

Definition of BAND
: a group of persons, animals, or things; especially : a group of musicians organized for ensemble playing

Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra - is not a BAND!
