Between The Trees

Formed in early 2005 while most members were still in high school, Orlando, FL, emo rock quintet Between the Trees had its start with vocalist/guitarist Ryan Kirkland and brothers Josh and Jeremy Butler on drums and bass respectively. Although inexperienced, they played as a trio for a while and in spring 2005 added keyboardist Wes Anderson. The band recruited a second guitarist, Brad Kriebel, who had been playing in hardcore bands. In September 2006 their debut album, The Story and the Song, appeared courtesy of Bonded Records. I saw Between the Trees at Warped Tour this year and I just about died. They we're absolutely amazing. Ryan Kirkland did a private, acoustic set and I sat like a foot away from him. He is so talented and so full of emotion when he sings. Brillant band!

Ryan did an acoustic set in Portland, and it was AMAZING! Very powerful voice, unique tone, and an impressive falsetto. He was just a guy and his guitar, but his music filled the entire venue. Voice+charm+ s m i l e + g u i t a r = WOW.
i saw them live in jacksonville on feb 29, it was soo amazing, we were right behind wes i have to say that he is SOO cute, my favorite song is THE WAY SHE FEELS, that song is soo amazing live, i still have the wristband thing=>
