Youthful West Coast singer/songwriter Brett Dennen first drew attention in 2004 with the single "Desert Sunrise." The tune, with its easy groove and soulful phrasing, garnered enough spins on KCRW to warrant the release of his self-titled debut the following year. In 2006, Dennen signed with Dualtone and released So Much More. Hope for the Hopeless followed on the same imprint in 2008. Dennen's fourth studio effort, Loverboy, was released in April of 2011. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
I remember the exact first time I heard him, he was singing The holidays are here but we are still at war in 2004 over the radio and I didn't know who he was, just that I totally loved him. Forward to 2012, he comes on the radio, it identifies him and I now own every single album he's done and can sing pretty much all his songs. I just love his music sensibility so much! Thank you Brett!!

I don't think I've been as profoundly impacted by any other artist. Much Love to you, Brett! Keep the inspiration coming!! The world needs more of you.
Amazing! The world needs more of this sound! Less bass beats and more harmonic rhythmic instrumental and verbal combinations. Thank you for not sucking and showing real music still exist!

As a visual artist, I paint to him and my paintings evolve with a special soulful depth. He is very blessed and his music reaches our inner souls.. ♥
A very close friend listened to him all the time and talk endlessly about him..she unfortunately is no longer with us but because of her love..I am now a big fan of his music. Brett thank you for your words and music.
Yep; used to catch him when he played at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach before he became a smash; one of the few musicians that you can really call a decent human being and a pleasant individual. Glad to see he's hit as big as he has; he deserves every bit of it.

Brett Dennen in Seattle a couple of nites ago....I'm still sqirmin and dancin, it was so much fun and what joy and love among the throngs who were there. I feel so lucky to have been among'um! Thank you Brett and all the marvy musicmakers a plenty! Wow
what an amazing artist! His voice is amazing and the fact that he is a younger artist makes him that much more of a remarkable singer. Support this artist so we can get more beautiful pieces to cherish from him! Definitely going to be a main staple artist at my wedding. His words drip with sincerity, and such a genuine soul backs his voice & lyrics. His songs are breathtaking and I love every single one. Wish he was my boyfriend ;)
Memories of Brett playing in front of my house on sweet Ventura days; his brilliance immediately apparent. The depth of his songs defied his years then and now. Anyone listening could feel something great was about to happen for him. A redheaded rarity indeed.
First saw him at Earthfest in Groveland, CA several years ago. Saw him at House of Blues in San Diego last year...took my son in law and converted the whole family to his awesome talent!
I happen to run into a random coffee shop performance featuring him and John Butler Trio in Ocean Beach about 3-4 years ago... awesome vibe, voice and presence. Gotta love that soulfulness!
