This song is my favorite!!!! I love Karen Carpenter and her beautiful voice I was only a little boy when the carpenters were on tv shows and all over the radio. I must have been between 8 and 10 yrs old but I can always remeber her beautiful voice and it has stuck in my head all of these years. I'm 46 yrs old now and i can appreciate The Carpenters more and more now!.

The Carpenters originally recorded the song in 1977, but never took off because it was too long for Top 40 hits radio. Anne Murray released it as a single in 1979 and it topped the Country and Adult Contemporary charts, which is why she is the first artist remembered for the song.
