This song is so beautiful, it makes me want to cry. I can't even express how much I love Colplay. I have loved them since I was little. And when I went to their concert in '08, I almost cried when we had to leave!

My interpretation of the lyrics is this: Imagine Chris Martin standing at the front of a sailboat on the edge of a high waterfall, staring down into the swirling water below with rocks poking through the foam like tiny silhouettes appearing at the summit of a hill far into the distance. He opens his arms and closes his eyes as the ship begins to fall, down, down, past the thrashing rapids at the surface and into the eternal calm beneath.
