I LOVE this song, i remember when i was 14 there was an open air concert in Germany and my friends and I went there and they played there including others like Ted Nugent, Pink Floyd, The Eagles, etc...the concert lasted 3 days, it was too cool

This cover band version just doesn't sound right. It sounds like a ... cover band .... I don't think the critic's analogy is correct. This is like having Ringo Starr and three nobodys go around as the "Beatles Revisited". This doesn't even remotely capture the spirit of the original CCR.
