Robert, the greek word "fear" doesn not mean to be afraid but rather it means to respect and revere. God wants us to respect Him and love Him .... this is the way that good will conquer evil ....!

Robert, thanks for sharing. Each of use are motivated to serve Him and do His will by different things. Fear, then duty, and finally love for Him may be the path that most of us take when developing a relationship with Him. None of these are entirely bad motivations, but Love is the best of all. I can tell you love the Lord. Keep up the good work.
