The Boston-based Diecast formed in 1997 and quickly gained a local following among hardcore and metal fans in the area with their blend of melody and heavy rock. By 1997, the group had recorded demos, which they followed with a proper release in the form of the six-song album Undo the Wicked. The group's fluctuating membership, especially on guitar, stabilized over the next several years to include lead singer Colin Schleifer, bass player Jeremy Wooden, guitarists Jonathon Kita and Kirk Kolaitis, and drummer Jason Costa -- the lineup that released Day of Reckoning in 2001. With a growing profile among hard rock fans, the band embarked on a series of tours, including stints opening for heavyweights like Alice Cooper, Slayer, and Hatebreed. The guys signed with Century Media in 2003 and entered the studio to begin work on their second full-length, with Paul Stoddard taking over as Diecast's new vocalist. They returned the following year with the ferocious and critically acclaimed Tearing Down Your Blue Skies. The band continued touring worldwide over the next few years with acts like Agnostic Front and Napalm Death. Diecast's rhythm section was overhauled prior to their next effort, bassist Brad Horion and drummer Dennis Pavia signing on. Internal Revolution then appeared in September 2006. ~ Tom Demalon, Rovi
Yeah I mean Days of Reckoning was my fav Album.. Undo had a few songs that were alright but Days is where it's at and honestly Blue Skies had a few albums.. Internal is way watered down.

@ Kevin M Mota, you are definetly entitled to your opinion, just like i'm entitled to my own as well. and my opinion is that your opinion sucks
Saw diecast in the 90's in providence , ri on more than one occassion . They were hardcore then , now it pretty watered down for you main stream peeps . undo the wicked was the what us hardcore fans liked . This band now sucks
Yaaaaa Nicki is right. Religious or not, they are musicians... they have their own style of music... if you don't like it find another band don't need to make a fuss about it.
I agree with Nicki. Religion and politics is beside the point of why we are here. We are here to state our minds on this very band, not the various beleifs of the people who listen.
Diecast kicks a**, btw.

otherwise is childish irrational and stupid as is religion
krisc123456
trevor if your beliefs are fairy tells no different from then tooth fairy the yes they mean nothing i would rather not know a bands religion because i would hate to know that they are irrational and stupid and from7tilldeath its only profane because we say it is the word s**t and crap mean the same thing they are no different its time to move beyond thinking some words are different from others they only have the meaning you give them and to think
well, nicki, if you are a fan of a band, you'll want to know some stuff about them.. religion is just one thing and sometimes it will effect a band a lot; such as with their lyrics. many christian metal core bands i know even preach in their songs. its a nice thing to know that really doesnt need anyone to complain about..
amoghk
Really actually good, but not as well known as i think they should be
Did I just read the profile correctly that Diecast had actually opened for Alice Cooper? Awesome! :D I really think it says alot about a band like that to be opening for someone that big. I just started listening to this band yesterday, and I'm really liking them. They make me think of Killswitch Engage, only they're somewhat more melodic.
They sound exactly like Killswitch, Tool.Honk, but that could be because they are from related musical scenes. (Killswitch is from Westfield, MA; Diecast is from Boston, MA.)
Diecast is amazing. Drummer and vocals especially, the whole bands sound blends perfectly to create an amazing music. I look forward to any future releases. Internal Revolution is the most played album i have
