A project of former JamisonParker member Jamison Covington, E for Explosion is a more ethereal-sounding act than the one previously mentioned, and is a one-man show with Covington in complete sonic control. Covington soon signed a deal for his new vision with Eyeball Records, and was quickly in the studio working on the debut. Produced by Dave Trumfio, Reinventing the Heartbeat was released in mid-2008. I don't like this song....It stinks.
Also, if I could "reinvent the heartbeat", I would reinvent his music. Into something good.
Wikipedia claims that this fits in the alternative rock/shoegaz i n g genre.. But gaaahhhh.. It so, absolutely, does not. The dude has an emo-voice, and the lyrics are totally cliche s**t. Some of the instrumental s are alright, but it is SO difficult to take any of it seriously or get passed his goddamned vocals. It pains me to see that "The Helio Sequence" is listed as a similar artist. The Helio Sequence straight-up rapes this chickenshit bullshit.
