You really suck and have no talent when you can't write new music and redo your old songs so maybe they play the new version on a Teeny bopper show like Gossip Girl. Go Away you silver haired loser, your songs were terrible in 1993.

I was excited to hear this version. It is a little more complex than the extremely simple (although catchy) original and sounds less like all of their other songs (which I do like, but most are very similar). Nice to see the song re-explored.

Looks like this is a remix album. I can't say I dislike it, but I also think I prefer the original. Funny how we all get annoyed when a band does a cover or a remix of a song we like, isn't it? The power of familiarity, I guess.
Cool song. But this version is definitely not the original version from Sparkle and Fade. It's like a toned-down mix. What gives pandora.com?

Have they re-released this CD with a different version of Santa Monica on it, because this is not the version that I have on my copy of Sparkle and Fade....
It's a good version, just different from what I have, so wondered where it came from?
