Final Conflict

Final Conflict is a neo-progressive band in the vein of Saga, later Marillion and Galahad. Song oriented, the group fuses together art rock with hard rock and pop stylings. Final Conflict formed in Stoke on Trent, England, in 1985 by two vocalists/guitarists Andy Lawton and Brain Donkin, Mark Price (keyboards), Tony Moore (bass), and Arnie Wheatley (drums).

The band released their first two albums -- Channel 8 (1987) and The Time Has Arrived (1989) -- on cassette. Their first CD was Redress the Balance in 1991, which saw Moore becoming the band's second keyboardist while a new member, David Bridgett, joined on bass. Wheatley also left around this time to be replaced by Darren Bland. With response strong, the group recorded their most successful work in terms of popularity, the concept album Quest. Prior to recording the record, Steve Lipiec replaced Price on keyboards, while Moore left the band. Chris Moyden joined the band on drums. Although the future looked bright, the band signed to the Dutch label SI Music, which soon went belly-up and the band were left adrift. Finally the group signed to Angular records in Germany and released their album Stand Up in 1997. Well-recieved by critics and fans, Stand Up was not picked up by Angular's main distributor and the album was not as successful as hoped. In 1999, Bridgett left the group to be replaced by Chris Chalk. ~ Geoff Orens, Rovi

haha the bio is for a different band.
Final Conflict is from Orange County, California, USA. Hardcore Punk at its best, circa 1986. Also check out Uniform Choice from O.C., CA. and Attitude Adjustment from S.F., CA.
What, are you f**king kidding? You are not even close. They are an anarcho-punk band from LA.
that discography is completely wrong. final conflict is from long beach, ca they have existed from 1983 - 2008 and current they have a hardcore sound because they are hardcore punk
they released ashes to ashes with ron martinez on vocals around 1987. in 1997 they released rebirth. rebirth was a much darker record. ron martinez had written more of the lyrics for this release. ten years maturity between releases really showed off ron's lyrical and vocal talents, and jeff's guitar playing had matured greatly. i have seen final conflict with ron singing about 15 times and that was a live show to missed by no one. they are still active as a band with a different line up.
final conflict are a punk band from the los angeles/ orange county area of california. they started around 1983. they site discharge, crucifix, black sabbath and motorhead as major influences.t h e y have gone through numerous line up changes.. too many to try to log here.

The above bio is NOT for the Final Conflict featured on Pandora. The band described in the bio sounds like wanky prog bullshit, while the Final Conflict pictured in the album shot are a brutal thrash hardcore band.

And thank god that it's the HARDCORE Final Conflict that's actually on Pandora. Final Conflict influenced bands like Aus-Rotten and basically any other band who wear patched denim vests and talk about "the system." I think they're from Minneapolis, but I might be wrong.
