The instrumental hip-hop duo of DJ Peter Parker and bassist Sneaky started performing as Fingathing in 1999. Peter Parker was a bedroom DJ discovered by Mark Rae of trip-hoppers Rae & Christian at a DMC competition in 1997; Sneaky -- a classically trained bassist -- was working in a popular Manchester club when the pair met. I always wanted to like hip hop because of the creative feel behind it, but there was something missing. Whatever it is, Fingathing and Tao of Groove have it.
