Toronto's FM Static was the pop-punk side project of Thousand Foot Krutch's Trevor McNevan (vocals/guitar) and Steve Augustine (drums). A million miles away from TFK's blustery rap-metal, FM Static had much more in common with the fizzy, immediately accessible pop-punk of blink-182 or Good Charlotte. Joined by bassist Justin Smith and guitarist John Bunner, McNevan and Augustine issued FM Static's debut on Tooth & Nail in July 2003; it featured 11 positive-thinking songs about girls, high school, and summertime. FM Static supported it with a nationwide tour that fall. The guys followed up three years later with Critically Ashamed. The duo ramped up their songwriting for their next album, the 2009 concept album and rock opera Dear Diary, which featured a narrative told through the fictional characters diary entries. The album was a success, helping the band to break onto the Billboard 200. The following year the band announced they were working on new material and their fourth album, My Brain Says Stop, But My Heart Says Go!, was released in 2011. ~ Johnny Loftus, Rovi
slgood3: Interesting, seems my taste is of secret Christian, in which the band is Christian, but they still have influences once in a while. I love this band, no matter what I notice. :)

These guys are like Hawk Nelson or Relient K or even Owl City, they are Christian but they put out ,music that appeals to the public, but you'll notice they inject the message in to it every now and then.... 'Something to Believe In' anyone?
i love the song tonight it just makes me remeber everything that brings back good memeorys so yes thank you very much and i get wait to write my own songs like you guys do(:
Love Fm Static!!(And TFK for that matter) My favorite song,by far, is "Tonight". And Trevor McNevan is AMAZING!!

Mickeymouse, they are Christian however they don't really sing about it often. FMS is also TFK. I am only confused because that means that the lead singer has two bands? IDK but bothe TFK and FMS are amazing.
What? They dont have the newest cd up here as well? Dear Diary is the best one yet! I love "Boy Meets Girl (and Vice Versa.) Its so TFK and FMS all at the same time! LOVE IT!
fm static is a great Christian band. they totally rock. and their music helps me get through some days :)

It's cool to here a totally different style than Thousand Foot Krutch; I mean, TFK is good and all but it's also cool to hear them in a different style. TFK and FM Static all the way!! :D
They are a Christian band who have the same singer and drummer from Thousand Foot Krutch, a much harder-rocking band that rocks equally as well, if not better!
ya, I think they are a Christian group because in their song "tonight" it says "when you sat and told me about your jesus" or something. They're a way good band. They don't have a single song that is bad at all.
