Excellent review of Dan's life - spot on!

takes me back to a very lonly time. His songs have a sad sound but beautiful. I felt like I wasn't alone when I played his music. I ran away to Colorado to find him but didn't know where to look. I imagined him living in the mountains, alone.

Dan's music defined the latter half of the 70's for me, and some of those songs can literally transport me back completely. So sad that he's not with us any more, but the comment about his "God-shaped space" being music is absolutely spot on. Thank you Dan.
