Lansing, Michigan's For the Fallen Dreams was founded in 2003 and features vocalist Chad Ruhlig, guitarists Jim Hocking and Jason Spencer, bassist/vocalist Joe Ellis, and drummer Andrew Tkaczyk. Taking inspiration from melodic metalcore bands such as Misery Signals, Still Remains, and It Prevails, the quintet cut their teeth with local gigging before signing a deal with Rise Records and releasing their debut full-length, Changes, in 2008. 2009's Relentless was the first to feature new vocalist Dylan Richter and the last to include founding member Andrew Tkaczyk. I opened for ftfd in Springfield va like 3 yrs ago when chad was in the band.sickest show ever n ive seen alot.changes was the best album.relentless was also good.
ive seen these guys live. they are awesome, and really bring a nice onstage presence, then are so cool when you meet up after the show. cool guys, great music
sound like attack attack? nahhhh, these guys have got heavy down sooo much better than AA. doomsayer, you should hear the stuff on changes. different vocalist, different sound entirely; i really dont like relentless at all. and niko, right on. big things have been happening for them for a long time, all over the states and through several countries in europe. im so proud of my locals :)
