A Christian metalcore band from Sioux City, IA, For Today released their first album, Ekklesia, in 2008. Signed to Facedown Records, For Today -- formed in 2005 and made up of Mattie (vocals), Ryan (guitar), Mike (guitar), Brandon (bass), and David (drums) -- spent the lion's share of their first couple of years together paying their dues on the live circuit. Awesome band. I remember seeing them at warped last year and met Mattie, he's such a sweetie. Hopefully they can go to warped again but I doubt they will ;-;

For Today brings Christian music to a whole new meaning. Hardcore style with a passionate heart dominates. It's always awesome to see God use men in a bold and powerful way. Needless to say I love this band! God bless!
