Guitarist Simon Austin formed the Melbourne, Australian folk-pop band Frente! in 1991, bringing in Angie Hart, Simon Austin (guitar), Tim O'Connor, and Mark Picton (replaced by Alastair Barden) to round out the lineup. Frente! entered the international spotlight in the summer of 1994 with their quirky acoustic version of New Order's "Bizarre Love Triangle." On the back of that single, Marvin: The Album entered the charts, with the single "Labor of Love" becoming a minor hit. Shape followed in 1996. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Rovi
my favorite lyrics of hers: 'the one you say you love is just the one you most mistrust as we tiptoe through our lives and pretend we're all so dangerous'
I started listening to Frente! when someone gave my parents the cd, they listened to it once and said 'whatever', I noticed the cover of Bizzare Love Triangle and hijacked the cd.. after a couple rounds, I really started to hear the lyrics and liked what they had to say. Its been over a decade and I still like to cover any of the songs on this album.. especially accidently kelly street (sorry lee ann!)
The whole Frente album is great, with the exception of "Accidentally Kelly Street." That song is beyond annoying. I wanted to pick up Shape and check it out, but apparently it's out of print.

"It's my Life", is one on those songs best left alone.
