Nashville-based Christian rap group Grits (an acronym for "Grammatical Revolution in the Spirit") consists of Teron "Bonafide" Carter and Stacy "Coffee" Jones, who debuted in 1995 with Mental Releases. Factors of Seven followed in 1997 (on the dc Talk-associated label Gotee), and Grammatical Revolution appeared in 1999. ~ Steve Huey, Rovi
These guys are great. They started me out in rap, and after going to Lecrae and Trip Lee, I'm back to them. I love their original style, they don't copy anybody!
what i hate is that a lot of people say "if it's Christian music, it probably sucks" when alot of these artists are just as or even better than a lot of secular artists!
We are likin T-Bone (west coast influence) and KJ-52. My kids are likin it so I am making it available to them. That is age 5, 9 and 17. Bringin em in thru the music....
ok... Trip Lee is pretty good too. I don't know about K-Drama, i haven't listened to him enough. I also recently found Sean Slaughter and Jahaziel, and they are pretty good. TobyMac just came out with a new album too, everyone should go check it out.
