The Guess Who are to this day one of the most under appreciated bands of the 70s and early 80s. I saw them at the Mn state faair about 5 years ago and was shocked to see they still sounded AWESOME! I saw them back ion te day as well bu wasn't surprised at how good they were then. I still turn on my younger friends to the Guess Who, I've always felt they didn't get there do!

Saw the Guess Who in Florida at Cypress Gardens a couple of years ago- super great - replacement lead singer better than the original - that is unhear of !!!!!!!!!!!! would love to see them again !!!!!!!!

I remember a riff on one of the albums, almost between songs..my memory's long and my temper's short but the way some people try to keep me down gonna drown if it ever rains.

My next door neighbor played the Guess Who. I grew to love their albums. Also loved The Youngbloods. Especially Darkness Darkness. That one has special meaning to me.

there is a movie called 'Melanie' on You Tube in several parts.Very poor quality video but features a couple original songs by Burton Cummings .Came out in '82, saw it then and have tried to find it again,appear s to never have been reissued. Burton Cummings is also featured in it as an alcohol stewed singer/ songwriter. Really corny in retrospect and a definite period piece. some pretty good songs esp. if you enjoy Burton Cummings style,which can be a bit over the top. Guess Who,great band.

Whoa. Just listened to You Keep My Hanging On. It's a very faithful cover of the Vanilla Fudge treatment. Fudge did it way better.
This tune is some of the best riff rock ever! Never heard of the two albums in one above - what a shame. I do have the four preceding albums, including So Long... and the live album, which are quite good, minus a couple songs off the former, and an overdose of blues live; I love blues, but not by rockers such as the Guess Who/Cummings . The law of comparative advantage rules on that one.
