So soon may I follow when friendships decay,
And from love's shining circle the gems drop away.
When true hearts lie withered and fond ones are flown,
Oh who would inhabit this bleak world alone,
Oh who would inhabit this bleak world alone?

Since the lovelies are sleeping, go sleep thou with them.
Thus kindly I scatter thy leaves o'er the bed,
Where thy mates of the garden lie scentless and dead.

So soon may I follow, when friendships decay,

My god I want her voice. It is absolutely beautiful. My sister used to be able to sin like this but then she stopes singing and she lost her range

In the summer of my fourteenth year I could sing those high notes( of course not as well as Hayley), then I got a eleven month cold. I can only croak now. It was a humbling experience.

she does a remake of like all the best celtic songs! not very orginal, and her voice isn't the "inspiring" type. but she does get the high notes at least!!!

What an amazing voice! Beautiful and angelic!

I don't like her interpretati o n . . . the volume of the syllables is just too regular (loud-soft loud-soft loud-soft) and it kind of sounds silly, plus the introduction is too melodramatic .

It's a shame, because she has a lovely voice and it IS a beautiful song.
