I bought the Jason Derulo song because of the "watcha say" part. I don't even like the rest of the song, just that one part. How mad was I when I first listened to this song?
im kinda annoyed about the "watcha say" thing, it doesnt seem like she ever gets credit for the song, and jason derulo gets all the credit for a song that is clearly based arould her part, his part is nothing compared to the parts that feature this song. its COMPLETELY unfair.
I wonder why Imogen Heap made a "Hide and Seek 2?" it's the same lyrics as the first... still, I like the harmonizing that I couldn't find in the first version!
I sure hope Imogene sold the rights to the sampled portion used in Whatcha say, cause I'd hate to say theft... been following Imogene since Frou Frou, seen her many times; I love her spirit and her talent. She was the first pleasure moment.

this came out first before that rap song. but the first song just titled "hide and seek" is better than this one. that jason derulo dude stole this. this song has been out for like 4-5 years.
I love Imogen! Incidentally, she was also the lead singer of 'Frou frou' another great band. I was in love with her then and more so now. I believe this song was beautifully captured in the movie, "Garden State". Gorgeous...
If you listen to her "V-blogs" (and I recommend them highly), she explains that she is frequently asked to contribute music to various projects, including movies and special compillations. Since Imogen has been diagnosed with a rare disorder called "OOOCD," ("Ongoing, outrageous, Omnipotent Creativity Disorder"), she is constantly coming up with new ideas for songs and creative ways to re-record existing songs. Thus, she occasionally re-records new versions of existing songs, and "voila!"
