No, the singer (and banjo) from Squirrel Nut Zippers is Katharine Whalen

Is this the same singer from Squirrel Nut Zippers? Sounds just like her. Nice Billie Holiday sound to her voice as well. Thanks for introducing her to me, Pandora!
If I didn't know any better, I would have thought I was listening to Billie Holiday. She has an intoxicating voice, thanks Pandora.

Ingrid is not only a great vocalist, she's a really neat person. She's done much for the musicians of New Orleans post Katrina. Her newest disk "The St. Valentine's Day Massacre" is most excellent. It's great to catch her in a small club setting. She's very personable and interacts with her audience.
Ingrid is one of my all-time favorite female vocalists. I'm sorry I never caught up with her when I lived in New Orleans. Her dad, "Poppa Neutrino" of their family band "the Flying Neutrinos" is also a great singer! Anyway, it's just a matter of time before Ingrid catches fire! YEAHHHH!
She is copying Billie Holiday down to her pronunciation, barely even attempting to add her own spin. That being said, I'll give a thumbs up to this song. Let's see what else she can do.
