Innerpartysystem

Before singer Patrick Nissley and drummer Jared Piccone started the dance-rock early-Killers-influenced outfit Innerpartysystem, both were in the Reading, PA-based emo band Thirteen Over Eight, which Piccone (who was then on drums) joined in 2000, a few years after their inception. Though the group enjoyed a nice local response and comparisons to bands like the Used and Thursday, things didn't really take off until the two started the electronic-inspired the Takeover, which later morphed into Innerpartysystem. With Kris Barman on keys and Jesse Cronan on guitars and keys, the group signed to Stolen Transmission (headed by Sarah Lewitinn, credited for helping bands like My Chemical Romance and the Killers reach the mainstream) in May 2007, releasing their The Download EP a few months later. ~ Marisa Brown, Rovi

man you think they sound cool? ever seen em live? They will change your life! Their PA guy is basically part of the band! He sings some vocals, runs lights and had this funky stomp pad thing that controls all the rad effects! You HAVE to see them live sometime.
hurristat
These guys are cool, what else would you expect from a band that adopted its name from a George Orwell book?
Saw them in late 08 with 3oh!3 before 3oh3 exploded. Saw them again at warped tour 2009. Both shows were insanely good and I got to meet them at warped, really cool guys. Can't wait for new material.
Bahahaha! This artist rocks ma socks! That sounds so childish, but their music calms the beast. :>> There music says it all. fav song by the "The way we move" and "Obsession" along with "New Poetry". But i personally cant interest myself with just a few songs cause I love and know them all. I love them soo.
Very nice. A warm, yet energetic sound.
'Don't Stop' is a pretty sick song

I was listening to an AMV and heard their song 'Don't stop' Weird video awesone song. I looked into it and I love their music now
LOVE them, they're chill people. I've seen them live four times, twice at small Boston venues in 2008 and once at Warped Tour 2009. They're dedicated musicians and put on a GREAT live show. can't wait for the new album.

cant wait to see you on the 20th at webster!
Pandora thought I'd like "Structure" and that song made me look into them. The album is fantastic, and "This Town Your Grave" is such a rush. Can't wait for another album. I'm hooked.
They need to put the songs from The Downlad EP on here. also, the new album should be out sometime this year.
jkar3
An instrumental version of "This Empty Love" was used in the game Need For Speed Undercover
i only listened to "don't stop" but i thought when i heard it i was listening to the faint.
no one is like IPS. Thanks Madden for getting me into them. Don't Stop got me into it but my favorites are Everyone's the Same and Die Tonight

Iv seen IPS twice. I love the sound. Patrick seems to have a natural way of attacking the vocals. the feel of an IPS show is awesome and they are not even headlineing. + i like lazers.
jwa657
My favorite songs by IPS are "Don't Stop" and "Last Night in Brooklyn".
They're a great band.
lukehester: try the band Pendulum
If it weren't for Pandora, I wouldn't have even heard of these guys. I have their CD :3 Don't Stop is my favorite, then Structure, then Obsession.
coffomah
I love "Obsession". . . y o u could rough up your boyfriend on the bed to that song...LOVES IT..
love this band! does anyone know of any other artists that sound like IPS? The similar artists above aren't really doing it for me...
aligatorvt
Saw these guys live in March. Amazing live performance, especially "dont stop" and "die tonight live forever". Insanely awesome.
I love "Don't Stop" by these guys, I think they have a lot of potential with that sound in the future.
ok, whoever "The King of Modern Real Estate" is, is a complete dummy. Inner partysystem is amazing, and maybe if he went to one of their amazing concerts, he would know that he has no taste in real, good music. agree with me, anyone?? ;)
These guys are hella amazing, good songs, good strong shows!! :>
