When this album was created Buddy Wike was in the 82nd Airborne Division and so was I. He was real cool, just a cool homie. He got out and they blew up and I loved it. Thanks Buddy. Cco 1/505PIR

i wonder how many of us has wanted to say this when the best thing in your life is walking out the door but have been to stupid to say this and lost the best thing of your life and till this day regrets it and want too kick your self in the a** for not doing it.?
This CD tells a story about my life and those times everytime I hear it. Ive owned it and their next CD since that year. Must have if you thinkyour R&B CD collection is like that. Mine is!!!!!!!!!!
Intro has become one of my big influences in music. Kenney Greene was truly a geniuous who has taken to soon. Rest in Peace!! I know he's singing witht the angels!!

One of the all time greatest groups! Unfortunately, they weren't able to continue making hits with the sudden passing of THE VOICE - Kenny Green.
this goup made some serious music and i can not find none of their music, only singles. they dpopped and due to the unexpected death of kenny greene we only got a little of what could have been true talent and success. today no other group since then has proven what real talen is , these artit today are making wack music, case closed.

I used to love this group. I played it out. The lead singer "kenny" had mad vocals. It's a shame he died of AIDS and none of is group mates knew he was gay until he was dying. Very sad! Their music will live on in my heart.
I played their version of Ribbon in the Sky at my wedding. I love Intro. This was true R&B!

Wow, INTRO, I so miss Kenneth & this group. I saw them once in Philadelphia, PA. I sing and the lead singer, sang so pure. Ashamed he died from the terrible HIV. I have all the CDs, "Ribbon In The Sky" was the best.
DANG!...I miss this group. And the lead singer, Kenny, was light years ahead of his time. Most people don't know that he wrote quite a few songs for Mary J. Blige. Maybe that's why her vocal style is so much like Kenny's. Intro is practically an extension of Uptown Records even though they were signed to Atlantic Records (Untouchables Entertainment). Heavy D discovered them, D.J. Eddie F & his production company did the music for the whole entire first album, which did O.K. considering the

I didn't know the lead singer, Kenney Greene, died from AIDS complication s at the age of 32 after admitting to the magazine Sister 2 Sister, that he was bisexual. Most of their titled tracks embodied so much depth and genuine intimacy, which is missing as a "great" variable, in most of the characterist s of so many artists/musicians today. Great group Intro was...truely missed~great fan.
Yo!!! This song has brought so many good memories for me... Damn!!!1

I couldn't agree with you more allisha2008. This kind of R&B music is long gone. RIP Kenny.

I absolutely love Intro-and none of these new artists come anywhere near their range, depth or sound. Yes, I would definitely compare Jagged Edge, whom I love, but Intro was still a cut above the rest. They just don't make music like this anymore-RIP Kenny.
This was a family group for me every weekend the whole family would gather at grandma's house and party to these song's I was a youngin then they don't make good music like this now days, this type of music send's chills down yo spine and touches you inside, touches the soul, "feel my nature rise" this some real love makin music this bring's back alot of good memories
I will never forget, Soro's was stepping out on intro's off this song and wining every competition, Homecoming and all,,

RIBBON IN THE SKY IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SONG. THE BOYS DID A HELL OF A JOB REDOING THIS SONG. R.I.P TO THE FALLEN MEMBER.

Intro was a wonderful group who will never be replaced. Jadded Edge are the only group who sounds similar and I compare the twins with Kenny Greene(RiP). I can still listen to Intro over and over again. Kenny Greene was Ashanti's god father and he did die of AIDS a couple of years ago. What a shame because they was on their way to the next level.

INTRO is still the ish...just to correct everyone Buddy didn't pass...it was Kenny Greene (the lead vocalist and songwriter).
I LOVED THIS GROUP!!! Their sound, especially the lead vocalist, had such depth, flow and presence. I'm the undisputed #1 Stevie Wonder fan. But I could no longer listen to the original once i heard Intro's remake of Ribbon In The Sky. Stevie even gave them props. Jagged Edge's lead vocalists (the twins) have a very similar style/tone. However they fall short in depth, range, and presence. There will never be another INTRO - R.I.P.
This was a coool group! When they drop it was the summer of 1993 or 94 (class of 93 hey). And man that was a great year for music. Seem like everyone was dropping some good xxxx. Their second album was not bad either. But "Buddy" the one in the middle died a few years back from aids or cancer. I forgot which one he died from. But anyone has the second album you can see the difference. He lost so much weight. I do not care what he had it did not affect his flow....the boy can sang!!
