oh Michael, what is "awsome"? A 30 year staying power as on of the top metal acts maybe? Being successful enough to own you own commercial jet to fly to your shows maybe? c'mon take your insipid banter to the pop section.
What! Iron Maiden Has the coolest lyrics out of any Melodic metal band, maybe even any metal band period. They Warn you about the Devil and sing about War! not just scream like Metallica and Megadeath?
Iron Maiden has hella good instrumental s , but their lyrics suck. That's one of the reasons why very few of their songs reach 'Awesome' status. But yeah, the lyrics to this song are especially lame. Lamest is "Bring your Daughter to the Slaughter," though. By a long shot. Best is "Rainmaker". . . Or "Phantom of the Opera?"
