This song, which came out in 1968, is often confused with Something, the song written by George Harrison in 1969. A big reason is that Something starts with the lyrics,"Something in the way she moves...". I'm not sure if it was a tip of the hat from George to James who was on the Apple label at the time.
I will always remember the James Taylor album..it had a white cover—that had this song "There is something in the Way She Moves"..one of my favorite songs...and this entire album from the early to mid-80's. My dear friend, Trudy Dupuis and I would travel Jackson Street in her little MG and listen to this cassette blaring..so much fun. I miss her.
Even Paul and George would both agree he"s among the best singer/song writters of all time as in this song- to me the words are nice the way they sound...
