It sounds alike because music/rock (indie etc..) is DEAD. The guitar only has so many notes. We whored them all out. Every guy with a musky voice and a pen writes out the typical events of life. Nothings new. They just know "I sound like this" so they make it. I mean, if he was born with a voice like P-diddy, he would not be making this kind of music, even though its in his "emotions". He wouldn't sell, and therefore he wouldnt play. Easy as that. to prove it. Look at the instrument shop... They
