It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play.
The music should be playing soon.

i thought this was the original. i still like it, but it should be law that all cover songs give credit to the original band at the beginning or end of the song. Like when Kurt Cobain says That was a David Bowie Song, after he plays The man who sold the world. Just my opinion.
Here's something I just thought about. In MY opinion, Heartbeats is not The Knife's best song; Not by a long shot. I'm confident that most Knife fans would agree. But it's probably their most popular song. The classic Catchy song that is pushed by the radio people. So now think about why there are several covers. The answer: popularity. An easy win. Low hanging fruit. It's a total cop out in my opinion and I lose a lot of respect for people who profit off of such a thing.

This is an awesome cover. As someone who likes many genres of music, it's a real treat to see crossover. I mean, I never thought I'd hear a death metal cover of Elanor Rigby, never mind one that was good. Guys, when someone covers a song, it means they (usually) respect the original artist(s) enough to attempt their own spin on one of their songs.
To alexscothern Jose is actually good friends with brother and sister duo The Knife. They lived in the same city and would work together on different music projects. It's not just a random cover.
BOYCOTT COPY CATS. Original song by "The Knife". Real talent there. And the knife wrote it only a few years ago! It's not like Jose is resurrecting a cool 60's song. He's just makin money off of someone elses talent! This song is what made his blip on the radar. Shameful. This is just boring compared to the real stuff. Thumbs down

Regardless of if that's the case, it's lame when somebody's success explodes due to exploitation of someone else's work.
I first heard this song done by The Knife. Then I heard a few different remixes, but still with the The Knife vocals. I like all the different versions that I've heard so far, but this one hits me just a little harder. I don't know why, but I LOVE THIS SONG!
Gosh, everytime I hear this song I really think it is a song from the late 80's or early 90's. ? I have heard The Knife version then the Jose'. It still perplexes me. Are you sure it is an original?
your voice glides over the rhythms gracefully...amazing

The Knife's version is the original version. Jose covered it which in turn made The Knife more popular because no one had heard of them/the song. I personally like his version more, could be due to being a guitar player of that style.
The Knife's version, freakin' wicked for that style though, I love The Knife in all their craziness

this is the song used on that commercial with all the superballs bouncing down the san francisco street...such an amazing "film."
