Love the "Life By Stereo" cd. His singing voice reminds me of Michael Tait (of dcTalk). Love the mix of R&B and hip-hop/rap from this guy. The best part is that it's really quality stuff and all about Jesus!

Aparently there are 4 different artists named JR. The J.R. which is the African American male, sings a genre called Christian rhythm and priase (R&P) His style is very contenporary as you can tell from the picture. He is mostly featured on several "Crossmovent " (popular Christian Hip Hop/Rap group) record albums and other record label artists. "Life by Stereo" is one of his solo projects. Much needed artist in the genre.
JR is different from J.R.
