I have seen and met Karl over a period of 13years now and he keeps evolving/esc a l a t i n g his rhythms. I am also friends with the band Dumpstaphunk who are crucial to Funk, and are good friends with Karl D. Love what these guys bring.

I know Karl and he is a fantastic guy and musician. Also, if you have ever seen the classic 80's Eddie Murphy movie Coming to America. (Karl is the saxophone player in a band playing at a church Eddie goes to find a wife at. The band was.....Sexu a l Chocolate... a n d Karl was brilliant!) A friend Ivan Neville told me this story in person after a show with Karl and it the funniest ever!!! Karl will always be Sexual Chocolate.

i agree with Deidra Somerville, this is why i love pandora, i could never afford to sample so many different artists let alone have playlists that are as intuitive for the listener.

loved him since the first time I heard him, he opened for the Allman Bros and just blew me away!!! Met him afterwards and he was so cool and down to Earth. Been hooked ever since!!
Wow. I love 'offbeat1's comments - because I felt the exact same way after hearing KD play for the first time. I've seen Greyboy and/or KDTU probably 25 times and they always BRING IT! Thank goodness for Karl is right!!
