With his world-weary voice and gritty, narrative-driven songs, Kasey Anderson has drawn comparisons to Americana and alt-country artists like Steve Earle, Tom Waits, Nebraska-era Bruce Springsteen, and Ryan Adams. Bouncing between the folk scenes of Bellingham, WA, and Portland, OR, Anderson has become a regional favorite and has attracted some national press attention for his five albums, 2001's Harold St. Blues, 2004's Dead Roses, 2007's The Reckoning, 2009's Way Out West, and 2010's Nowhere Nights, all of which were produced by Eric Ambel and recorded at Ambel's Cowboy Technical Sources studio in Brooklyn, NY. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi

I remember meeting this guy in Portland. All class. Stand up guy. Smoothest damn voice. A talent and a sincerity that has raised the bar. The NorthWest is so proud to have this guy.
tcomer3
he's not mainstream cause the public is to stupid to listen to actual lyrics
This guy is amazing. Talented guitarist with an awesome voice. Sounds a bit like Dylan...but the Heart of a Dog album with the Honkies gets away from that country. This is a rock/blues musician, boys.
thank god he hasnt given into mainstream country...too many have, here's to red dirt. You dont like it im sure kenny chesney or rascal flatts can fix it
katzmyth
Talented but sounds like every other Country singer out there, and that's why you probably don't hear him on the radio.
