I agree with Gabriel. Her lyrics are so straightforward that you wonder if she's trying to say something else. I especially love the part in this song that goes "Well, she was wearing a skirt......and he did" because it's exactly what people think in their heads and its hard to say that without confusing yourself.
The lyrics ARE very meaningful but simple, and although the lyrics are very black and white the words together compose a song with feeling beauty and brilliant color...I love Kate Nash
