I pray she come back, God used her music to teach me grace and this style with the getar rifes was so on target. We as believers are free to sing anything good , pure, holy, righteous and true. I wish we would also sing about being a community who feeds the poor bring dignity to the rejected and abused that we can overcome evil and yes give glory to this kind of music in Jesus name.Leslie if you read this please give it another go. I have always thought that it was so sad that Leslie or Sam Phillips left the faith that she wrote (or sang) such strong words about... for sparing small moments of fame? What was it worth? I pray that those words from the word steep into our heart and she comes to a full saving knowledge of the only true hope for the world!
For 3 decades I have maintained that Dancing With Danger is the best overall Contemporary Christian album ever released. The messages of each song were relevant to this relatively new Christian, and as a whole were formative in understanding why I need a Savior.
