Having just sen them in Cleveland two days ago ( at long last ), and having been a fan since the 1st Fresh Aire came out on LP not a year nor a month for that matter that Mannheim is listened to in one form or another. I'm also a professional Celtic Harper and I've LNG ago adapted Red Wine to two harps and recorder.

Because he is not very good at the parts with the violin.
Chip Davis is a genius. Can you imagine the amount of cash he's made with his instrumental Christmas concept?

These fine musicians started in Omaha, Ne doing classical music with a old fashioned twist. They then transitioned into doing Christmas music where they made it big with a very unique style. I can still see them playing in Fontenell Forest on a Sunday pm. Enchanting entertainment.
Panda SUCK! I try to create a radio station and it plays one selection I like and then plays god knows what after that. Not user friendly and I sent an e-mail to them and they do not respond.
I ordered their new Christmas CD from QVC. Love it. Plus they were on there. Great little Concert.

It's definitely feeling like Christmas this morning now that I'm listening to my favorite Christmas musicians. MS ROCKS! Anyone know how to get your station to pick more of just your particular artist without having to unlike all the others that pop up?

If you love Mannheim Steamroller, please respond! I'm their biggest fan!!
I had the extreme pleasure of experiencing Chip Davis (Mannheim Styeamroller a number of years ago during the Holidays...All I could say then and even now...WOW : )
The Jingle Bells has such a nostalgic tone to it. This group is great, really!

hey does anyone remember a group from the late 90s or early 2000s that was acapella with about 40-50 men only?

Their version of Silent Night brings me to tears every time I hear it. I grew up with classics like Bing Crosby, Perry Como and others. I didn't hear of Mannheim or TSO until I was an adult, and they have been added to my very select holiday music.

I agree Mannheim Steamroller Live is wonderful. I have seen it in Minneapolis, Chicago and San Diego.
I really enjoy The Mannhein Steamroller type of music, and I have almost all their albums. I first hear them as background music on Rush Limbach's radio program many, many years ago, and wondered what that great sound was.I found out and was fortunate to see and hear them when they were performing in the U of M area...an outdoor concert. Chip Davis is a musical genious in my humble opinion.
If you get a chance next year (because this year's concert season is complete), go see them in person...it's a wonderful show.

or create a station that reflects that style. I started out with "O Holy Night." So far, I've listened only to that style of music. If you don't like a style, click the thumb-down icon.

Michael Erickson, at the bottom of each "album" there is an "upthumb." Click on each of the tunes that you do like. Pandora will adjust its offerings over time to reflect that style.

Mannheim Steamroller is a regular feature at our home. My favorite is "The Holly and the Ivy". So amazingly beautiful. To echo Betty Wilkinson, even "we'uns" in southeast Missouri have some class, amazing as that may seem.
