Metallica at their PEAK! Justice was great, just badly recorded. MoP had great, epic songs, combined with practically flawless recording. Pretty lame to see 'em play the intro chords to the song on their live Cunning Stunts DVD, and then they switch to Hero of the Day. WTF!?
all aboard, anyone up for the crazy train to the sanitarium tonight? Be with you girl, like being low, a million poppies gonna make me sleep. Hey, dont you wanna go down, like some junkie cosmonaut.Yea, I'm still a creep, and your million miles from being stoned.
everything after black album goes downhill, but it's all still 10x better than most other bands like this

Would agree that Metallica lost it after And justice for all...
Even And justice for all... was a big departure from their previous work, but at least it was a great album. After that one it was just all uninspired, which sadly happens to lots of bands. Early stuff is great, then as they get old it all goes down hill.
Can you imagine this song mixed in the likes of their last album? Goodbye any dynamic range. This is back in the day when they made music for the fans, not the record company's.
Metallica stills rocks. Compare them now from then and yeah there not as good, but hey they beat the crap out of most of todays music

I remember when Metallica albums were worth buying, that's been a LONG time. After Cliff Burton was killed in the bus accident, all the compositional talent died with him.

ALL DOWN HILL AFTER JUSTICE? YOU DONT LIKE THE BLACK ALBUM?
Hippie Maiden, you do realize that most of the early Metallica albums were "exactly" like this. Heavy composition, mood changes, time shifts and quite experimental. It's why Geddy Lee used to love them, heavy prog-rock influence to early Metallica.

Hmm...this is one of the more unique MetallicA songs. I like it because it isn't the usual heavy-heavy-thashing-without-stop songs...it actually has some very striking lyrics and the vocals are more focused and controlled than the normal growling and screaming.
crap.
for insane people. They also cover things like severe drug/alcohol addiction, that may wreck a persons sanity. If you need anything more, what else would they call it? Welcome Home (Asylum)? No. Now gtfo you unworthy fool.

Do you know anything? They get paid from pandora. Napster was criminal, they felt it needed to go, and they laid down their law. Pandora is by no means illegal, in fact, it's encouraged. They have music licenses and pay for every song you hear every time it is played. And what are you talking about? Sanitarium, think about the name. Do you not see sanity in that word? They are medical locations for long term mental illness. Not limited to, but most famous for, serving as asylums for ins

Love the song but I wonder if whoever wrote this song knows what a Sanitarium is. It's not a mental institute despite what the song suggests. Hey, these are the same guys that were crying about Napster. I'm surprised they haven't tried to destroy Pandora too.
