Moon Taxi

A five-piece jam and prog rock outfit hailing from Nashville, TN, Moon Taxi quickly built a local following, which soon led to a record deal with 12th South Records. Members Trevor (vocals), Spencer (guitar), Tommy (bass), Wes (keyboards), and Tyler (drums) released their debut album, Melodica, in 2007. I just wish this band would stay true to their funk inspired jam band roots. Cabaret was an MGMT album. I questioned whether or not it was the same band that did Melodica. They better go back to their roots on the next album. Melodica is soooo good but they failed horribly on Caberet by having MGMT produce it.
These guys rocked soul kitchen in Mobile Al. Glad they are on pandora and I will help taxi their instruments to the back of the venue again anytime. Play banjo next time too ha!
