Incorrect Sal. Mark Mothersbaugh (from Devo) did the theme for PeeWee. The Residents did some of the soundtrack too. Check out the PeeWee Wiki
Mr Bungle did the PeeWee Herman song.
It's funny how he imitates the parts he should've played haha
That makes more sense than what I thought. I always kinda thought it was about Faith No More kicking out Jim Martin because it was rumored that some of his tracks on Angel Dust were re-recorded by Trey Spruance as a session guitarist and then King for a day (FNM with Trey) and Disco Volante came out the same year. Blah blah blah... Your way sounds more correct.

the lyrics in the 2nd part are when Mike found the secret song that the rest of the band made without telling him, and he recorded over it. It was the prelude to the Secret Chiefs 3 (Mr. Bungle minus Patton). They didn't know Mike recorded on it until after the album was released (listen to the words, you can hear him say stuff like I know the secret song now, They wouldn't tell me, God dammit I'm pissed off!!
PS the second half is pretty cool minus the vocals. Its way stylish. The keyboard work on this album is sooo tight
I believe the lyrics from the first half (or part of the first half) are a recitation of an Edgar Allen Poe poem. I think i read that in the liner notes or somewhere.
Great song from a great album
some of the songs off of this album are some of Pattons best ever I think, its funny how you could probably make 19 different songs just from what is going on in this one
I prefer the first half.
The second half of this song cracks me up! Mr Bungle you are screwy in the head and I like it!
