About This Album
Vocalist Carrie Bradley, here on hiatus from the Breeders, brought a bit too much of their sound with her. Bradley's slight voice is a dead ringer for Kim Deal, and the humming guitar sound doesn't offer much contrast to that band. But the tunes display lyric invention, and even a Breeders soundalike band can't be all bad. ~ Tim Sheridan, All Music Guide
