Start with the first album and follow all the way thru first to last ALL GOOD NOT A LOSER IN THE BUNCH BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT THAT'S WHY I FIND IT SO HARD TO PICK A FAVORITE>I Think he was saying expand beyond the Hit Disc for the real Beatle's
@comfortat - That's a broad, ignorant comment. Not sure if you're comming from a sales & marketing position, trying to stimulate additional sales of the Beatles catalogue, or just asserting your fanatic view of the group.
I think we're all hanging on the line, awaiting your reply!
Agree with Dr. Mike & bdcarlson12. These albums (red & blue) don't begin to touch the Beatles' greatness. Sounds pretentious, but you need to have every single album by them to really appreciate their greatness and diversity.
jmrifeishimself - nice to be a thief. See how far that attitude gets you in life. Here's a concept: buy something you want with your own money. If you have no religious belief, then show some dignity and give respect due other by purchasing things legally. Put yourself in others shoes before you act with only yourself in mind.
I dunno Dr. Mike, some folks who (dare I say) don't love the Beatles like those of us who have the whole collection and know all of the "Paul is Dead" clues, may be genuinely satisfied with Red & Blue. Plus, these are typically fairly inexpensive and would provide a good primer.
I must agree with bccarlson12. Don't buy this album or the Red Album either. You will be missing too many great songs. Save your money and buy the complete Beatles catalogue. You may have to spread it out over time buying them one album at a time but it will be worth it.
Every song on this album is great. The Beatles are the Beatles, after all. That said, don't get this album -- buy the actual studio releases and appreciate the songs in the contexts they were recorded and released in.
The Beatles White Album has got to be the most recognized of all Beatle albums..It will stand the test of time ,as it has already done ,as one of the best of all,the only thing that one must here, is the white album, an you know ,immediately, what the person is talking about....LDW
