DJ duo Blank & Jones are slick, there's no doubt about it. Most of the big trance tunes on Mix, Vol. 2 blend perfectly with their neighbors and you have to keep an eye on the CD player to see when they've changed. Despite the duo's skills, this volume of their Mix series initially comes up short in regard to energy and appeal. It's perfect for a seamless play in the ignorable background until Anne Clark's "Sleeper in Metropolis" kicks off an excellent an engaging second half. Chicane's "Love on the Run" becomes even more wide-screen in its Blank & Jones remix, and vocalist Claudia Brücken works her usual Teutonic-whisper magic on "Unknown Treasure." The Clark to Brücken sequence shows how talented this team is when the ear for tunes matches their attention to detail. ~ David Jeffries, All Music Guide
