About This Album
Hefty Fine features 12 tracks -- nine songs and three interludes -- of self-consciously tasteless jokes not far removed from the Bloodhound Gang's third album, 2000's Hooray for Boobies. From the moment the processed distorted guitars kick in on "Balls Out," you know exactly where the album is going. Jimmy Pop gets his best joke out of the way in the spoken opener -- "Eminem's gotta cuss in his raps to sell records/Well, me too/So f*ck Will Smith." The music is almost entirely alt-metal, with the exception of parodies of dance music from the early '90s. this album sucks....it really does....one of the things that made the bloodhound gang was the fact that jimmy pop can flow better than anyone alive,and he doesnt do it on this album....the songs,compar e d to their other stuff,are bland and uninterestin g . . . s u r e , t h e dirty jokes are there,but they just arent funny this time...its almost like pop decided to try to go in another direction,an d , s a d l y , i t just doesnt work....thei r other work is genius,it hits on all levels,its funny,snide, v u l g a r , c l e v e r , a n

God, this Stephen guy needs to get a sense of humor. Sure, it's childish, but who the hell wants to be so serious ALL the time? That's why people listen to them, not because we're idiots, but because we can listen to it without reacting like an old geezer. "Oh, that's just childish." Yeah, it is, and it would be funny if you had a better sense of what 'funny' is. By the way, stop screwing up the album art and songs. Pandora is getting lazy.
