If you've ever spent a cold, foggy evening strolling the labryinths of Venice, then you know instantly that this music, Venice, is a connection of perfect fit. It is soulful, has a depth of spirit and speaks a language of transcendance. Listen and you are there! It is a masterpiece.
I love Chris Botti, but this album is a bit depressing and many of the tunes sound alike. The Deborah's Theme one did kinda bring back a memory of the movie. It was one of my favorite and one of THE BEST movies of The Eighties. I guess they must've played it in the movie when she was in her dressing room taking off her makeup after a show and Dinero came to see her after several years?
