About This Album
Decoded Feedback put together the sort of driving, synth-oriented techno that Front Line Assembly and the like crafted during the late '80s. Their urgent, angry sound rarely changes up throughout the 11 tracks here; instead they rely on the constant repetition to drive home their dark sound and visceral message. The hateful vocals are what really puts this over, bringing the music closer to KMFDM or Ministry than what the keyboards would suggest. This music does sound a bit dated at this point, but luckily Decoded Feedback has enough common sense to draw on their own strengths and put the emphasis on the harsher elements of their sound. No one will ever mistake this for VIVIsect VI, but this is one of the better electro-industrial albums to appear in the '90s. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
