It's only 11 tracks, but The Best of Delbert McClinton contains nearly everything you need to know about how the eclectic blues/country/soul performer sounds, even if it doesn't have every good song he recorded. Nevertheless, it has the best moments from his early-'70s records, and is a terrific introduction to his work. ~ Thom Owens, All Music Guide
