Spanning their biggest singles from the '70s and '80s, the Dramatics' Ultimate Collection includes staples like "In the Rain," "Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get," and "Be My Girl." "You're Fooling You," "Welcome Back Home," "I'm Going By the Stars in Your Eyes," and "Me and Mrs. Jones" are some of the other notable tracks from this retrospective, which covers the group's years with Stax, ABC, and Volt. Though it doesn't go into as much depth as some previous Dramatics collections, Ultimate Collection does a good job of presenting highlights from the majority of the group's career. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide

The Dramatics are timesless. There songs take me back to when life was simple and fun. When falling in love and courting were the norm. Folks from the old school like me respect them because they had something to say and they sung it from the heart. You can tell it was more about the craft then the cash. They were the mouth pieces from thousand of young men that may not had the gift of gab. Just put one of the Dramatics songs on and fill in the blanks!
