Live at the Fillmore finds the expansive and dramatic alt-rock band Dredg performing at the legendary San Francisco venue in May of 2006. Included are such tracks as "Bug Eyes" and "Ode to the Sun" off the band's 2005 studio effort Catch Without Arms. Also featured are "Yahatee" off the group's debut Leitmotif, and "Same Ol' Road" from 2002's Cielo. This is an atmospheric, impassioned and engaging performance that should please longtime fans as well as work as a nice introduction to Dredg's sound. ~ Matt Collar, All Music Guide

I read a review of this album giving it a 1/5. Saying they were a band that weren't heavy enough to mosh to, not soft enough to sit down for, not passionate to sing along to. SERIOUSLY? That woman clearly has no ears. I was just really pissed reading that because I love this live recording. Just because dredg isn't exactly like Circa Survive (or some other shite band) doesn't mean you can't dance your a** off.
I was there at this concert, this is Dredg at their best. No other band just wraps you into the music as they do. This band puts faith back into you that music isnt dying, its just harder to find.
